Shri Govind Guru University, which was founded in 2015 is a brand new university. Additionally, the institution was created following that the Government of Gujrat adopted the Shri Govind Guru University. The University currently has Jurisdiction over five districts of the State of Gujrat. The districts include Panchmahals, Mahisagar, Dahod, Chhotaudepur, and Vadodara. In addition, these districts are home to be several tehsils among which include Godhra, Sant Rampur, Fatepura and the Shiner among others. The University is the sole authority on these Tehsils. The University is located in the  Godhratehsil located in the Dahod district.

Courses Offered

The courses are offered at the UG or PG levels, as well as Ph.D. degrees. The courses are offered in 16 streams that students can pick from. SGGU Admission

Shri Govind Guru University admissions are merit and the entrance dependent. In certain courses, students must submit the results of their prior qualifying examination. For certain courses, applicants are required to the submit for the entrance test. The eligibility requirements to be considered for the  UG or PG programs are below:

Fee Structure And Facilities

For the B.Com course the fee amount charged is around 4,700 rupees per annum. This is very feasible for the students from every economic status. Thus, for the entire course, not more than Rs.15,500 is paid by us.

Infrastructure

Library

The library at the university can be utilized with an unending number of resources. Additionally, it has sources such as case studies, journals research papers, books, electronic books, e-journals and more. When it comes to volumes, the university houses over  the 1.97 milliliters of books. 799 journals and other files. The university are  offers resources through its digital library platform, as well. The library is well-equipped with an good seating capacity. There are libraries organized by the department at the University as well.

Hostel

VNSGU is a clean and the tidy hostel, which means the hostels are clean. Furthermore, the University is home to separate hostels for girls and the boys. Seven blocks of hostels are available to girls and boys, and six for both. The capacity for housing in the hostel is are approximately 880 residents. Clean water and spaces are also provided in the hostel.

The indoor space for the games such as carrom, chess, etc. is on offer at the campus. In addition, the university offers a playground where the students can engage in sports like volleyball, cricket, football and more. The school is home to an international standard synthetic track, too. It also has a basketball court on campus.

Labs

The university has a variety of laboratories within its premises. The labs are accessible in different ways to the different departments of study. They are equipped with the latest version of equipment and meet the standards. The labs include Animal Cell Culture Lab, Bioprocess Lab along with Computer Lab among other labs.

Scholarship Eligibility

Students having SC/ST/OBC quota or Minority community are eligible to get a scholarship if they have are secured 85% in higher secondary education.

Students having a low economic background are eligible for scholarships by the university.

Students whose parents serve/ have served in the military are also eligible to get in the scholarship.

Students who are perform exceptionally well in academics, including extracurricular activities, can apply for the scholarships provided by the national scholarship portal or the Gujarat portal institutions or the central government.
