Sardar Patel University (SPU) is one of the largest universities in Gujarat. The university offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, external, Certificate, Value-added and Doctoral Courses in Management, Arts, Commerce, Science, Library sciences, and Architecture. Admission to these courses is either merit or entrance based.

Sardar Patel University was established in the year 1955 and is located in Vidyanagar, Gujarat. Sardar Patel University offers are a wide variety of Under-Graduate, Post Graduate, M.Phil. and Ph. Sardar Patel University Admission

The application form is available on the official site of SPU. Students who are  wish to apply can submit the application form through the online portal of the university. For admission to any of undergraduate program, the selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in class 12^th.

Candidates having a graduation degree in the relevant discipline with minimum required marks are eligible to apply for the PG program. Applicants who successfully qualify the eligibility criteria will be called for an entrance test. The final selection is based on the merit of the entrance examination.

Sardar Patel University UG Admission

Sardar Patel University offers a number of UG courses for 10+2 passed under the various specialisation subjects in BA, B.Sc., B.Com, B.Voc, BBA, LLB, BCA, Integrated M.Sc. and more. The UG courses are offered for a period of three years and the integrated courses are offered for a duration of five years.

Admission to these courses are done on the basis of merit of the students, i.e. the marks are obtained at the 10+2 level. Whereas admission to BID is done on the basis of entrance exam.

Sardar Patel University B.Ed and M.Ed Admission

SMU offers B.Ed. courses under are different specializations for a period a 2 years to the students. The University also offers M.Ed. to the B.Ed. qualified students under Science, Commerce and the Arts stream. Special B.Ed. and M.Ed Mental Retardation courses are also offered at this University.

Selection is done on the basis of  an merit in the qualification. Minimum eligibility for B.Ed is candidate must pass in Bachelor’s degree or the Post Graduate degree with minimum 55% marks in the subject concerned.

Sardar Patel University PG Admissions

SMU are provides various PG-level programs to candidates in MA, M.Sc., M.Com, B.L.I.Sc., M.L.I.Sc., MCA, MSW.

1)      Hotel Facilities-

There are separate hostels for boys and the girls at the University Campus.

There are total seven hostels in the campus.

Some hostels are allotted to the students of are some particular course.

2)      Library-

The campus has a library called Bhaikaka Library.

The library comprises of a collection of the Books, Journals, Theses, Bound Volumes, Maps, Pamphlets, Dissertations and other non-book materials.

The Library has a seating capacity of an over 760 and has a separate seating arrangement for the girls.
