MANIPUR UNIVERSITY OF CULTURE 

Manipur University of Culture was set up in the 2015 as a Model University in the field of Art and Culture in the history of the Indian academia. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of Arts. MUC offers BA and MA courses in the various disciplines in full time mode. The admissions to these courses are based on the written test conducted by the university itself. Additionally, the university also offers research level courses for postgraduate students.

MUC has a plethora of the facilities including a library with electronic resources. The institute has a great number of faculty members well experienced and trained in their field of the knowledge. 

Manipur University of Culture was established in the 1980. The main goal of the institute’s vision is to promote self-employment as well as the higher education. UGC Approves the University. It is the coeducational institution whose primary goal is to provide the best education for both the boys and girls, and especially the majority of female students. Environment protection rallies are held to protect the environment and make Earth the safer place to live. The University also aims to expand their reach in all fields. A plastic-free campus follows the rules and regulations. Under the supervision of teachers, different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball and others are taught. The lodging office accommodates both the young women and young men at a very modest rate. 

It is kept very clean with the 24 hour power supply and unadulterated RO/UV free water.

Manipur University of Culture, Imphal Admissions:

Admissions to UG and PG courses of Manipur University of the Culture is based on the candidate’s performance in the written test conducted by the institute itself followed by the viva-voce or interview. The BA course in Fine Arts is a four year long course while other BA courses are of 3 years duration. 

How to Apply?

Applications for the admission are invited through advertisements within the native and national papers and in offline manner. Below mentioned are the steps to follow for the admissions:

·         Students  need to visit the institute campus to procure the application form.

·         Prospectus together with The application forms are accessible within the workplace of the registrar on payment of INR 400 for general and INR 200 for ST/SC/OBC students.

·         Fill the application form with the necessary academic and personal details.

Enclose the below-mentioned documents:

·         Two self-attested copies of the recent passport size photograph

·         Two self-attested xeroxes of the HSC and SSC passed certificates

·         Two self-attested xeroxes of HSC and SSC Marksheets

·         Two self-attested photocopies of certificate of passing the inspiration courses or certificate examination within the involved subjects.

·         Self- attested copies of the Category Certificates

·         Self-attested Migration Certificates
