Bharath Institute of Higher Education and
Research ( BIHER) also known as Bharath Institute of Science and Technology(
BIST),( 2) informally Bharath University, and formerly Bharath Engineering
College is a private and supposed university and an Indian institute of
advanced education located in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, India. It’s
recognized by the University subventions Commission( UGC) and is accredited by
the National Assessment and Accreditation Council( NAAC) with the loftiest
grade ofA.( 3) It’s also approved by the All India Council for Technical
Education( AICTE)
Bharath Institute of Higher Education and
Research was innovated in 1984 as Bharath Institute of Science and Technology
byS. Jagathrakshakan. It’s among the first independent engineering sodalities
in Tamil Nadu.( 5) It was first combined to Madras University followed by Anna
University. The institute was awarded supposed university status in 2002 by the
University subventions Commission in recognition of its academic excellence. Hence,
the name was changed to Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research. In
September 2006, it was renamed as Bharath University per a decree issued by the
University subventions Commission enabling supposed universities to include the
word” university” in their names. In November 2017, it was again renamed as
Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research following a directive issued
by the University subventions Commission and an order by the Supreme Court of India
to all the supposed universities in India.
The university offers undergraduate,
postgraduate and doctoral programs in fields similar as wisdom, technology,
engineering, drug( including dentistry, activity and nursing), trades and
operation.
Bharath University has won awards in recognition of its academic and exploration excellence. A many are listed below.

BIHER( Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research) which was
established in 1984. Bharath was honored as a Deemed to be University by MHRD
in July 2002. Since its commencement, the institute is conducting quality

Engineering offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in several branches

The minimal eligibility is securing 50 marks in 10 2 or its original in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the seeker must qualify( Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination) BEEE. Admission
The minimal eligibility isB.E/B.Tech in the concerned field or its original from the institution honored by AICTE/ UGC with 60 marks or original CGPA.
MBA and MCA Admission
To apply to the MBA program, the seeker should have done Graduation in any field with 60 marks or its original from a honored institution. Whereas, for MCA program, the seeker is needed to retain Bachelor’s degree with Business Mathematics or Statistics. For MCA( Side) program,B.Sc in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics is needed to be eligible for the program

TANCET 2023 operation figure is INR 800 for
general order campaigners and INR 400 for SC ST SC campaigners. To apply for 2
programs, the figure is INR 1600.
To complete TANCET Registration,
campaigners need to upload a passport- size snap and other needed documents in
the specified format of JPG/ JPEG.
While filling out TANCET online operation
form, aspirants can elect up to 3 TANCET test Centers 2023 of their preference.
The distributed test center will be handed on the admit card.
Only aspirants who have successfully
registered for TANCET will be suitable to download TANCET 2023 Admit Card
from the sanctioned website.
